How manufacturer consignment works

Partnership & agreement
Double B and the manufacturer establish product quantities, auction/consignment terms, logistics, and settlement terms in a written agreement.

Manufacturer ships to Double B
Under the standard program, the manufacturer is responsible for ocean/vessel freight, inland transportation to Double B, tariffs, import-related charges, and costs incurred before arrival at Double B's premises in Texas.

Double B receives the equipment
Following arrival and unloading, Double B assumes responsibility for agreed local handling, promotion, advertising, internal sale management, and security while equipment is in its custody.

Marketing & unreserved auction
Equipment is promoted and offered through applicable unreserved public auction channels.
- 5
Settlement
Seller commission: 10%. Settlement: within 15 banking days of the applicable first auction date.
Exact terms are confirmed in the written consignment agreement.
